Gorman,
I had the pleasure of seeing your film 'You Are Alone' at the Sidewalk Film Festival in September, and I was absolutely floored. Not only was it the best film I saw at the festival, I believe it to be the best film I've seen all year ...period. The performances of the two leads were simply outstanding - in particular the remarkable work of Ms. Bohl. In addition, the script contained some of the most brutally honest and achingly sad dialogue I have ever seen on any movie screen.
I also appreciated speaking with you briefly after the screening and the Q&A. As a filmmaker, I feel that I learned more in those few hours spent watching the film and hearing what you had to say than in any other experience I've had.
As you can tell, this film had a profound impact on me, and I am looking forward to the DVD release and the opportunity to share this extraordinary film with my friends.
Thanks,
Bert

Bert,
Just wanted to say thank you so much for those very kind words. I actually copied a link to this posting in my Holiday email to everyone involved with You Are Alone.
We're working on distribution now. As soon as we have something concrete, it will be made public.
Thanks again!
Happy Holidays! (You made my day!)
